My student career life is getting complicated!

It's been more or less 3 years of my stay in this institution and I find this school year really the very challenging yet complicated one considering those requirements that we have to accomplish especially the software that we have to create with software engineering. Gosh! We're just starting yet we can already feel the hardship and the pressure. As I always say to myself, it's always part of life's journey. But we have to be open of all the possibilities that we may encounter along the way. Our future lies on the outcome of this project. Hopefully we can make it and we can meet the expectations of our clients.

To the BSCS ST 3A and B. Goodluck and god bless! I know we can make it.

Video Games getting minds of their own.

LOS ANGELES — Video games are getting smarter with virtual enemies improvising during battles, story lines shifting based on moral choices and in-game characters sending players text messages for help.

Titles unveiled at the just-concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles feature artificial intelligence (AI), making in-game worlds more realistic and less predictable.

"There was a lot we had to do," Peter Hines of Bethesda Softworks said as AFP tried the studio’s eagerly awaited Fallout 3 shooter game, set in a post-nuclear war Washington, DC.

AI software in Fallout 3 lets enemies change tactics depending on what players do.

"They are being smart about being in a combat situation," Hines said.

The game is also designed so that players’ choices effect which computer-controlled factions become their allies or enemies.

A Project Origin action horror game built by Monolith Productions for Warner Interactive Studios boasts "vastly enhanced" AI that makes enemies act realistically and use environments to their advantage.

"See, he threw the car door open because it was the smartest way to take cover," a Monolith developer said of an on-screen adversary while showing AFP the game.

"That isn’t scripted. He is figuring it out as he goes." (Read complete details http://www.itmatters.com.ph/features.php?id=072508a

Hassle and Inconvenient Schedule!

It's gonna be a different schedule for us this semester since we are having a class from 7 to 8.30 PM. It's so tiring because after having a class from 11.30 to 1PM the same day we are gonna be waiting for the next subject to attend to for about 6 hours something. Imagine, you're gonna be emoting for couple of hours just to wait for that class. It's really tiring. But we cannot do something' about it. Accordingly, it's not just us who experience the same situation. Hopefully, sooner or later a proposal will be passed and approved for the benefit of everybody. Goodluck and god bless!

It's a waste of time!

Hey! What's goin' on with the teachers? Some of them aren't meeting some of our classes yet. DAMN! We've been wasting a lot of money in goin' to school to attend classes and yet they are not there to cater us. Guess what? I wasn't able to pay my tuition fee until now. I'd like to say hi to Mam Winters of the Accounting Department of WMSU. Hope you'll process everything as soon as possible because I'm so in need right now. SWEAR! Haha. To those of you who has extra money or anything like that, might as well lend me some small amount. Hihi! I'm just goofin' around. BSCS ST 3-B, i'l see you around..

"i lost my frnds! Hish..

Gosh! I lost my frnds o'er at frndster. I hate it so much. After all the efforts i've done just to have all of those and then suddenly u just found out that u only have about less than 10 frnds existing in your list. It really is so terrible. I just can't believe this would happen in a glimpse. FRIENDSTER TEAM: Please do somethin' about it. I know you;ve been receiving complaints about what happened and i'm lookin' forward to have my friends back the sooner the better, although I know it's quite impossible. DAMN that Virus!
